Product Overview

VIC Coupling (Victaulic-style coupling) is a grooved mechanical pipe joining system designed specifically for high-pressure water transfer applications, including shale gas fracking, mine dewatering, and industrial water supply. The coupling consists of two components: the body (grooved coupling) and the segment clamp (housing) , working together to create a secure, leak-proof connection. A complete VIC coupling assembly includes two grooved couplings and one Victaulic-style clamp.

The body is available in forged aluminum with anodized surface treatment, or stainless steel 304 / 316 for enhanced corrosion resistance. The segment clamp is made of forged aluminum (early versions used cast aluminum). This lightweight yet durable construction makes the VIC coupling ideal for applications requiring frequent assembly and disassembly, such as temporary water transfer lines in shale gas fracturing operations.

When paired with grooved-end TPU layflat hoses, the VIC coupling delivers a reliable connection capable of withstanding extreme pressures and demanding field conditions.
